In March 2024, members of the Architectural Review Committee visited the Dunn-Edwards paint color specialist to discuss the existing 15 Tatum Highlands Design Guidelines color palettes. The color specialist assured us that the current palettes are still contemporary colors for our area, which are primarily desert colors.
Although some of the newer communities are going with white and grey tones, the color specialist indicated these would not mix well with the current color schemes of our homes. In her opinion, the only way to include them would be to start from scratch and make everyone paint at the same time, which the current Architectural Committee believes is an unwise decision. She also advised against adding any new schemes due to the fact we currently have a wide variety to choose from.
It should be noted that most HOA color selections had been reviewed by the Dunn-Edwards Property Service Representatives which in turn were submitted to the 2015-2016 Architectural Committee for their review and approval for Tatum Highlands Design Guidelines. The current 15 color palettes were adopted and approved by the elected Architectural Committee members who were serving at that time.
As more and more residents paint their homes, it is quite evident that a fresh coat of paint really improves the overall look of our neighborhoods. The entire Architectural Committee would like to thank all the homeowners who have painted or are in the process of painting their homes.
