Happy Spring 2025! As spring blossoms with vibrant colors, comfortable temperatures are here. It’s that time of year to celebrate Graduations, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day.

Irrigation Renovation Update

Irrigation Phase Two is complete and Phase Three is underway. Phase Three is the north side of Jomax from 43rd Street to 40th Street and will be finished by May. These phases meet the goal for 2025. For budget purposes, the irrigation renovation will continue in 2026 with Phase Four.

Trees

Last year, some trees did not survive due to the lack of water and are under warranty by

Service Direct Landscape (SDL).

The Board of Directors has been cautious to approve the purchase of new trees. It was best to wait for new irrigation areas to be completed. At Tatum and Jomax, we plan to add two bigger trees as a backdrop for the monument on the northwest corner to complement the other monument on the southwest corner.

Investing Money

At the March Board Meeting, the Board of Directors started the conversation with First Service Residential to obtain a Cash Management Recommendation. The Board approved to invest association funds into Certificates of Deposit at the meeting this month. We did this in years past and look forward to initiating with First Service Residential. We were unable to do this with prior management.
